From the local to the global level,the mission of National Institute for Environmental
Studies(NIES)is to survey and research a wide range of environmental issues,with
the aim to conserve our environment.Research Activities at NIES cover monitoring
and evaluating the current status of the environment,environmental impact by human
activities,and ways and means to reduce environmental loads.NIES also collects,compiles
and provides information related to environmental issues. |
